Description The LONGUETEAU distillery started at the beginning of the 1900's, it was an old sugar mill (Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte Maire), Henri LONGUETEAU did some work to build the distillery in 1920. Four generations have succeeded one another, and today François LONGUETAU, son of Paul Henri, is in charge of the distillery, with the development of their vintages based on parcels. Today, the Longueteau distillery is the only one in Guadeloupe with total autonomy of sugar cane production. The sugar cane comes exclusively from the plantations of the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie, located at the foot of the Soufrière massif: The blue cane and the red cane.
