Description NAGA Java Reserve is a blend of two distillations: one at 65% obtained by distillation in a traditional Chinese still. - the other at 92% obtained by column distillation.
DISTILLATION PROCESS
- Fermentation of molasses and red rice bread fermented in teak wood vats to 12% abv.
- 52% of this "cane wine" is distilled in traditional Chinese stills to 30% abv. Then distilled a second time in stills to 60-65% abv.
- 48% of the cane wine is distilled in columns to 92%.
The resulting rum is then aged for 3 years in teak barrels and 4 years in American oak (ex bourbon) barrels.

The double ageing in jati (teak) and oak (ex-bourbon) barrels gives Naga rum a harmonious balance between sweet spicy notes and exotic fruits.
