Description Founded in 2015, the DR. CLYDE'SPIRITS is known for its modesty and its concern to defend and promote the traditional and artisanal methods of alcohol production.

Dr. Clyde's rums are the first rums distilled in Belgium.
The raw material used is organic and fair trade cane molasses that we import from South America.

The molasses is fermented for 3 to 4 weeks.
The sugar is slowly converted into alcohol by the yeasts.
The wort (fermented alcohol) has a strength of about 14° when it is placed in the Pot Still, also known as the Charentais still.
The distillation process takes 12 to 18 hours and produces a modest amount of rum with a strength of 60° to 65°.
This white rum is then reworked to make the Dr. Clyde range of rums.
