Nez Le caramel cuit et la réglissesont très présents, mais le tabac, l’orange amère, la vanille et un boisé exotique se distinguent également. L’alcool, après un moment, se fait remarquer.
Goût En bouche c’est sec et tannique, voire même astringent. Le tabac et la vanille (étonnamment intense) dominent, et l’ensemble est tonique et gourmand. On a affaire à un rhum riche, lourd, puissant et vif à la fois. La finale est très longue. C’est le caramel cuit qui laisse la plus grande emprunte et une touche mentholée vient vivifier cette finale qui n’en finit pas. Les fruits cuits y sont également présents.
